Sensitive data is stored encrypted in our database server through Oracle Transparent Data Encryption or HIVE's core platform encryption. For any user interaction with that data, the data is presented masked. Transit of security data is to be done over secured (encrypted) channels and storage. During transit, no components will store or log any clear or confidential data. Depending on the data and the protocol, core platform uses various encryption protocols such as RSA and 3DES.
